Well, the POD is just about loaded and after we do some last minute packing and cleaning, we'll be off. (And no, that's not free advertising for PODS. So far working with them has been a small nightmare. I can only hope our belongings arrive unbroken.)
Then, we are off to Gainesville for Bart's graduation from P.A. school (hurray Bart!!!)
Then we have a loooong drive to Wisconsin. I'm a little nervous about how that's going to go with two two-year-olds, but the toys and treats are packed in the car, so I'm as prepared as I think I can be.
Good-bye Tampa! We are going to miss you!

seaworld
As one last hurrah before we leave, Kade, Ky and I met up with some friends at Seaworld on Tuesday. We had a blast. Other than the hour that we waited for the Shamu show, only to have it be cancelled, it was a perfect day. (Don't worry, we got to see Shamu later.) The boys were so fascinated by everything they saw, I had more fun watching them than I did the shows.
Something funny that Kade said: We were in the shark exhibit, and there was a large, fake shark above us, so I pointed out how many teeth the shark had. Kade very simply said, "I don't like that." So I thought he must be a little scared, so we walked on. As soon as we had passed the tail of the shark Kade said, very excitedly, "It didn't eat me!" I couldn't help but smile.
Something funny Ky said: Were were watching a show with four singers on a stage in front of a lake where they were doing tricks with jet skis and ski boats. At one point in the show, the singers told everyone to dance so they could pick a few people to come on stage and dance with them. Ky and Kade stood up right away and danced in the cute way they do. Obviously they didn't select my two-year-olds to come on stage, but I could tell when it was over, that Ky was a little disappointed. When the show ended, Ky looked up at me with big puppy dog eyes and said, "Now can I go dance with them?"
It was such a fun day, and a great way to say good-bye to Florida!

pool party
Saturday evening we had a graduation/pool/farewell party with some of our friends. It was a great way to celebrate Bart's upcoming graduation and say goodbye to some of the friends we've made here. We are really going to miss everyone, and hope that we can keep in touch.

yum!
I fell in love with rice pudding when we lived in Provo near Pudding on the Rice. Once it opened, we went every chance we got. In fact, when we go back to Utah to visit, I make it a point to go once or twice while I am there.
Since going to Pudding on the Rice is not an option right now, the other night I made a batch of my own. I actually got the recipe from my mom, who found an article that the owner of Pudding on the Rice wrote and included her recipe for raspberry rice pudding. I took that recipe and made a bunch of cheesecake flavored (which is Bart's favorite from Pudding on the Rice.) I also made some chocolate chip fudge. They tasted so good, especially together. A little bit of cheesecake and a little bit of fudge on a spoon, yum!! It tasted just as good as the real thing.
So, for those of you who are fortunate enough to be able to, go to Pudding on the Rice for me. You won't be sorry.

ice cream party
Last week, we had the kids from our Primary class come over for an ice cream party. We had 10 kids between the ages of 9-11 in our little apartment, and had a great time. We ate ice cream with lots of toppings, played charades, a blind-folded cottonball game, and watched the music videos that Bart made of the boys when they were really little. We are going to miss teaching these wonderful kids. They are so smart, and so spiritual. They know so much about the scriptures, that I'm not sure they learned any more from us.
Kade and Ky had so much fun with them over, that they keep asking when we are going to have another ice cream party, and where did everyone go.

a lot of this
The boys have been sick the past couple of days, so we have been doing a lot of this...
Hopefully they will get better soon so we can do all the things we wanted to do one more time before we leave Florida. (Plus, it breaks my heart to see them sick.)

countdown to graduation
Now that it's really close, I decided to add a countdown to Bart's graduation on the side. It's not only the countdown until Bart's graduation, but also the countdown to our moving day. We've got a lot to do in the next 16 days, like packing everything up, but most importantly we've got to go to the beach, the pool and Busch Gardens as many times as we can between now and then!
