Friday was the worst part of the trip, as it was the day we said good-bye to my parents.
We are so lucky that they would come meet us in California to spend our vacation with us! It definitely made things easier, but most importantly we looooove spending time with them. It kills me that we only get to see them once or twice a year. Mom and Dad, we need to plan another trip together ASAP!
After we said good-bye, we started our trek down to San Diego where we had to catch our flight home SUPER early the next morning. We stopped at Fashion Island shopping mall and imagined what it would be like to have enough money to actually shop at stores like that.
We continued down the coast and stopped in Laguna Beach. We headed up the hills, gawked at the expensive houses with the amazing views, and took a little hike at Top of the World. I just love the view up there!
Our next stop was La Jolla Shores, where we walked along the beach, played in the grass, and tried not to think about how it was our last few hours on our warm, sunny vacation.
It was the most perfect family vacation ever, and I feel so blessed that we were able to make such magical memories together as a family.
