One of the most heartbreaking things that the pandemic took from us was Everly's dance recital. The last several months of dance she did virtually, from home. I was so grateful that she at least had that, but dancing in the living room over a video call is nothing like being in a dance class in a studio. Since they couldn't hold an end-of year recital, they did the best thing they could. The dancers all put on their costumes, and one class at a time, performed their numbers on the grass outside the studio. I think Everly had fun doing it, but it was so sad to not be able to perform it on stage, with an audience.
At least we got some adorable photos of her! She's gorgeous!
I know she'll dance on stage again someday, and I cannot wait!
