January 2020 highlights

The most significant thing that happened in January was that Bart's sister Sadie got married.  She and Zach decided (really) quickly to get married at the beginning of January in the Chicago Temple.  We were surprised but happy to be there and so happy for them.  

It was such a sweet miracle how much family was able to be there on such short notice from all over the country, to celebrate the day with Sadie and Zach.

My favorite thing about the day was seeing how happy Sadie was.  

The NFC championship game was heated at our house.  Most of the family was cheering for the Packers, but I have been a 49ers fan since I was young, and even though I like the Packers just fine, I had to cheer for San Francisco.  Krew didn't want to cheer for either because he was mad that all the bird teams were out of the playoffs.  Oh, and the 49ers won!!

There were several ski trips in January for Bart and the boys.  

We spent the rest of the month counting down to and preparing for our Disney Cruise!

Part of our prep was making sure we all had pirate costumes for the Pirates in the Caribbean night on the cruise.  We were getting soooo excited!
