we went on a disney cruise: part 1

We arrived in Orlando a few days before our ship departed.  We spent that time eating out, swimming,

more swimming, 

hula hoop contests with grandma, 

 

and a little hiking through the palm trees.

We've been to this nature preserve a couple of times now. It's super close to Disney World, and you almost make it to the parking entrance before turning and heading to the preserve.  We didn't go into the parks this trip, but we were awfully close!

The baby alligators are always a hit here!

Just being together, outside in the sunshine and warm weather felt so wonderful.  Plus, we were all buzzing with excitement for what was coming next on our trip!
