splish, splash, painting in the bath

The other day, I made the boys some bathtub paint using baby shampoo, cornstarch and food coloring. I figured it was a fun way to pass the time in the tub, and and easy way to clean my tub walls!
Aren't they amazing artists? I think the tub looks kinda neat this way.

The boys were having a great time, and I thought I could catch a picture of them to show how much fun they were having, but as soon as I got their attention and they saw I had my camera, they immediately put on their silly "picture faces." Oh well!

packer fever

In case you were wondering if things are getting a little crazy around here in anticipation of the Superbowl, let me show you a few pictures of what I found at the grocery store this week. I also wish I could give you a feel for how I can't turn on the radio without hearing some song that they've taken and turned it into a "Packers-are-going-to-the-Superbowl" song. They are all high quality too, let me tell you. Anyway, back to the grocery store. (Sorry for the poor-quality cell phone pics again.)

(These are Packer rice krispie treats)

Our grocery store has a fun kids area where I can drop the boys off while I shop (best. invention.ever.) While they were there, they got to make Packer decorations. This was the second week in a row that they made something to do with the Packers.
Yes, Kade made a Steelers helmet. Not sure what that is about...

Oh, and I took this one at Wal-mart today. It's crazy! I wish I had gotten a picture of all the employees at the grocery store in their Packer jerseys. Oh, and at school on Thursday the boys made Packer banners and watched a video from last time the Packers won the Superbowl. All the schools in the area get a day or two off next week just to celebrate-win or lose. And I thought people were Packer-crazy before.
