After bowling we went for dinner at IHOP. Ky and Kade could not believe that there was a restaurant devoted to pancakes and french toast, and that you could get them for dinner. It was like a dream come true!
Please ignore the huge hot chocolate dribble all down the front of Kade's shirt. Now that I've pointed it out.
After dinner we came home and opened presents (for like the fourth time in 4 days.) Their last present was a clue to a treasure hunt that led them all through the house and ended up down in the basement where they found this:
A new swing...indoors. There was also a rope ladder to play on too. So great when it's too cold to go to a park about 7 months out of the year here. And don't worry, although not pictured here, we did put down some nice padding under the swing so we don't have to worry about them falling off and cracking their heads on the cement.
The following Saturday, we had some of their friends over for a superhero birthday party. I wish I would have got more pictures, but it was too hard trying to play mom, party coordinator, hostess, and photographer all at the same time.
In case you can't tell, that's supposed to be Spiderman's face. Don't laugh.Ky
Blowing out the candles together. We got them trick candles, and I think we may have been a year or two early for them, because I don't think the boys quite understood what was going on, and they didn't think it was very funny.

So cute. What a cute mom you are! I am glad that the boys had so much fun!
Great job on the cake. I love the idea of decorating the capes. I'm going to have to remember that for future birthday parties at our house. I still remember when you were pregnant with these boys. Hard to believe they are already 4.
