she's nine months old!

Why is it that nine months of pregnancy seems like an eternity, yet a baby's first nine months flies by in the blink of an eye.  That is how it has been with our sweet Everly.
I know I say this every month, but she continues to be the most sweet-natured baby ever.  She smiles all the time, is mostly always content, and makes all of us happy.
She is currently getting her top two front teeth, and teething has been harder on her than my boys.  Or maybe the boys were just always fussy, so I didn't notice a difference when they were teething.  Everly stopped sleeping through the night as soon as those teeth started to push against her gums. Before that, I don't remember the last time I was up with her in the middle of the night.  She has wanted to be held a bit more too.

She still loves to feed herself, and her favorite foods are sweet potatoes and bananas.
Ahh, I love this one!!

She still gets the hiccups so easily when she laughs.  It's certainly not every time, like it used to be, but laughing still often leads to huge hiccups!

She was so funny when I put this headband on.  She kept covering her eyes as soon as it went on.

She still dislikes being on her back. Diaper changes are a struggle, as were these pictures.

She pulls up on all the furniture, and is now a pro at cruising along it.  She can even move from one thing to another.  Nothing is safe anymore!

One of her favorite times of the day is when Krew wakes up from his nap.  He calls for me from his bed, and she immediately starts crawling toward his room to play with him.  Watching them be "reunited" after his nap is so precious.
She has two new, hilarious faces that she makes all the time.  The first is this pouty lip, scrunchy nose face.  Whenever she doesn't get her way, or if she gets a little bit hurt, or she doesn't like something, she will make this face.  It happens several times a day.  It just started a few days ago, and now it's non-stop!  It kinda, sorta makes me want to give her whatever she wants because it's just so darn adorable.

She's also started giving us this cheesy smile.  She throws her head back and gives us this forced, cheesy grin.  It's the best!
Oh, this girly loves her daddy, and I'm pretty sure she has him wrapped around her little finger!
