end of summer fun

Here are some highlights from the rest of our very unusual summer:
We kept up the tradition of annual summertime dates with mom, even if we had to limit what we could do and where we could go.  We picked up lunch and ate outside at the park mostly.

Kade's baseball season was pushed back well into the summer instead of being in the spring.  It was so fun to watch him play.  He did really well this season.  It was heartbreaking when it was cancelled halfway through the season, with no warning, due to Covid cases surging.

Everly put on plenty of fashion shows for me this summer.  She's adorable!
We were so happy our neighbors got a new pool by the end of the summer, since we weren't able to go to the city pool at all.  It was nice of them to share.  This summer was definitely unlike any other summer.  There were some hard things about it, but we made the most of it and enjoyed the more relaxing pace and the chance I got to spend so much time with my kids at home.
