california vacation: laguna beach edition

On our last day in California, we decided to head out to Laguna Beach.  What I love about that area, is the fact that one minute you are in a bustling city, then you drive through this quaint canyon, and within a few minutes you are at the beach!  It was drizzling when we got there, so instead of heading out to the beach, we decided to head up into the hills and gawk at the amazing homes with the killer views.  At the very top peak, we found a little playground and a small hiking area.  Naturally we had to stop and take a bunch of pictures.
And naturally, Krew had to make funny faces in each one.

What was so awesome about this area, was that you could see the ocean one direction, and turn around and see down into the valley on the other side.  We really were up on the top of this ridge.  I loved having such an awesome view, even for just a few minutes.
Our hiking and exploring made us hungry, so we decided to find a local hotspot for lunch.  This little taco place had rave reviews on a few websites, which we decided to trust since it looked like such a hole-in-the-wall.  The ambiance of the place was seriously lacking, but the tacos, fish tacos, and ceviche were quite delicious.  Hooray for trying new things!

After lunch, we took a walk along the beach.  It is a very rocky shore, and of course the boys had fun climbing all over the rocks, and trying to stay dry (again).

Oh my goodness!  This is the sweetest picture ever, right!?
